A Powerful Leader Empowers Others

Ralf Etienne went from the youngest and most successful entrepreneur in Haiti to hanging upside down in a collapsed building during Haiti's 2010 earthquake. Ralf should have died like those next to him, but he shares how God spared his life. This made Ralf realize the worthlessness of his riches, position, and success.

Ralf lost a leg in the massive earthquake, and he went through tremendous pain, but said it was all worth it to find his purpose in life. Now he helps as many other people as he can who are suffering or in need of a better life and future.

Ralf started a non-profit, Rebuilding Haiti, to help his fellow Haitians struck by the hardships and natural disasters of his home country. Ralf leads hundreds of people to a better way of life helping to empower them to rise up in their full potential. This includes job creation, skill training, micro-businesses, food programs, schools for children, and planting churches.

Ralf also is an entrepreneur who graduated from the elite business school UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He studied investment banking at Carolina while obtaining a coveted Bank of America internship with Bank of America's investment banking program in Ney York City. Ralf plans to work as an investment banker on wall street with Bank of America while developing different strategies and investment funds that will strategically help lead the way to assist and raise up hurting people in Haiti and around the world. Ralf understands that handouts are needed at times, but to really help someone as a good leader, you must empower those following you to become their own leaders. Ralf now understands what true purpose and success are, and shares these deep answers with Brett about how to live a life that will leave a legacy.
